In addition to the Mirage 7x, Eschenbach also offers the Mirage 5.5x Binocular and Monocular Telescopes for those patients who require a lower amount of magnification for extended distance viewing. This adds another model to our frame-mounted telescopes that already features powers of 2x, 3x, 4x and 7x. Providing a wide 11° field of view, the 5.5x25 Mirage Telescope has unique adjustable frames and open saddle bridges that optimize "fittability", thereby maximizing your patient success!  

Mirage Telescopes provide superior optics via anti-reflective coated lenses and high-resolution mirrors. Each telescope can be focused individually from 6' to infinity.  The binocular and monocular Mirage Telescopes are a one-of-a-kind solution for moderate to severely visually impaired patients wishing to engage in distance viewing tasks in a hands-free manner. 

The Mirage monocular telescope weighs only 2.5 oz and the Mirage binocular weighs 3.5 oz. Both can be adjusted to offer two different PD options. The top position provides a PD range of 54-64mm. Utilizing the bottom position, the PD range is enlarged from 50" 74mm, giving you and your patients the flexibility that may be needed to fit this telescopic eyewear properly. These Mirage telescopes will prove beneficial for extended viewing tasks, such as watching television, movies, sporting events, or for bird watching or sightseeing.
