BeHear NOW headset amplifies and clarifies only what you want to hear: in-person conversations, mobile calls, streamed audio, live music and television dialogue, even if you have mild to moderate hearing loss. The direct audio transmission from the television to your BeHear headset via the HearLink PLUS Bluetooth transmitter eliminates room reverberation and ambient noise interference. The powerful, long-range (200 ft.) transmitter supports continuous connection-even when you leave the room, and the low latency technology ensures perfect audio-video synchronization.  The free mobile app for iOS and Android smartphones includes a self-administered hearing assessment.  The results are used to automatically generate your hearing baseline. Fine-tune these profiles in real-time to achieve the best personal experience for your current TV listening situation. Just connect the HearLink PLUS to your TV via the digital (optical) or analog audio output port on your TV or set-top box, and to a power source. Now you can sit back and enjoy the crisp and clear audio from the BeHear headset, without having to crank up the TV volume.  By pairing your BeHear headset to your smartphone, if the phone rings while you are watching TV, the BeHear headset will vibrate and you can answer the call with just one click. The TV audio stream will be muted and will resume at the same volume automatically when the call is ended.  In addition, with the unique ListenThrough feature the BeHear headset is customizable for your capabilities and preferences. If the caller is speaking too fast, you can dynamically slow down their speech. It also allows important ambient sounds to be heard, such as nearby conversation or the doorbell, while you enjoy streamed audio from your TV.  You determine the level of transparency of those ambient sounds.
